Democracy Essay for 9th & 10th Class

In a real democracy, people freely choose their representatives. Parties give their programmer for the well being of the common masses. People choose the best one. People have their own wishes and they want to complete their wishes through their candidate. If people will not satisfy with their leader, they have open opportunity to change the leader. In democracy country, people live freely and no one have any power on any other.

The progress of democracy in Pakistan has been most irregular and unsatisfactory. There are several reasons which we will discuss in this essay. There are several laws in our Constituent Assembly in 1949.

First of all which one is important in any successful country is Education. If we are not educated and we don’t even think to put our country on the road of progress. If our country base is on democracy but it is also fact that there are no more people educated in our country and they don’t have any idea to choose their leader. There are more than 80 percent people are uneducated or even they just know how to write their name in international or national language. Their each idea is base on self and they don’t know how to handle the merits of a state.

Secondly we have to see that how our country can progress and on which our country has base. In our country it is common that there are several landlords and system allow them to control the people and the entire people work under them. Farmers have less piece of land and they just borrow land from landlords to do their work but these landlords get more work from them while giving them less pay.

Here is also a main problem that is we don’t have proper education system in our country. The stage for the enactment of the tragedy of democracy in Pakistan was prepared by the first group of political leaders, surrounding and misguiding Quaid-e-Azam.

In the whole political set up of the country, intellectuals, scholars, teachers and truly devoted and able patriots were mostly kept out of the electoral process or the power corridors or circles. As a result, our top political leaders,- ministers, chief ministers, prime ministers and president have been coming from the richer classes, military professional civil servant. In the result of this essay if we want democracy in our country, we have to get education and it is the only way to choose our leader and to do any other activity that must can happen in democracy.
