Lahore College for Women University is commonly known from its acronym LCWU. It is one of foremost institutions of Lahore that was established for the female students. It is an independent private sector university that was initially founded in the 1992 as a women’s college. The institute was primarily built as an intermediate residential college with only 60 students. Over time the institution made drastic developments and expansions. The admissions of the LCWU are open for female students in interm ediate, bachelors, master’s, and Ph.D. levels. The University currently has a very large student body consisting of more than 10,000 students enrolled in various degree programs offered by the University.
